Employee Experience & Compensation Diagnostic

Focused Annual Survey of Pay Perception, Culture, and Work Experience

This diagnostic uses a simple, targeted survey to understand how employees feel about their compensation, workload, clarity of objectives, culture, and benefits, while mapping differences across teams, areas, technologies, and work environments.

The scope is intentionally focused: we measure employee experience related to pay, work conditions, culture, and intent to stay or leave, without unnecessary complexity.

What This Diagnostic Measures

1. Pay Perception & Market Awareness

We assess how employees perceive their compensation by asking about:

  • Satisfaction with their salary

  • Sense of internal fairness

  • Understanding of how their pay compares to the market

  • Confidence in how compensation decisions are made

2. Career Mobility & Intent to Stay

We measure:

  • Willingness to look for new job opportunities

  • Perceived growth potential inside the company

  • Interest in internal mobility vs. external offers

  • Indicators of disengagement related to pay or work conditions

3. Area-Level Experience

We evaluate how employees feel within their specific area or team:

  • Relationship with direct managers

  • Clarity of KPIs, goals, and expectations

  • Team culture and collaboration

  • Workload balance and stress

  • Physical or digital work environment (if applicable)

4. Work–Life Balance & Benefits

We check whether employees feel supported and if they actually use available benefits:

  • Work–life balance satisfaction

  • Awareness of company benefits

  • Actual utilization vs. availability

  • Perception of fairness around benefit distribution

5. Organizational & Area Culture

We map culture at two levels:

Area-Level Culture

  • Norms and behaviors inside the team

  • Leadership style

  • Trust, communication, and psychological safety

Organization-Wide Culture

  • Alignment with company values

  • Perception of fairness and transparency

  • Sense of belonging and inclusion

6. Technology Mapping by Area

We collect data on:

  • Tools and technologies used in each department

  • Familiarity and comfort with the technology stack

  • Pain points caused by tools or systems

  • Areas with outdated or inefficient technology

This allows you to map which teams use what technologies, and how this affects culture, workload, and productivity.

Bias Control & Safe Reporting

To protect employees and deliver reliable insights:

1. No Small-Group Reporting

Results are only shown when groups have enough people to remain anonymous.
Example:

  • If a team has only one woman, gender-based results for that team are not shown.

2. Structured to Reduce Bias

Survey questions are neutral, validated, and structured to avoid:

  • Leading responses

  • Emotional priming

  • Managerial pressure

  • Identification risks

3. Optional Additional Data (Extra Fee)

If you want to add deeper modules—such as performance data, DEI attributes, or more detailed role-level information—this may require extra processing and has an additional cost, depending on complexity and bias-control requirements.
